Our church offers a variety of programs and classes for all ages aimed to help your family deepen your faith in Christ.

Between Labor Day & Memorial Day, Sunday School Classes for all ages begin before worship at 9:45 AM.

Youth Fellowship & Kid’s Fellowship are offered on Sunday Nights at 5:00 PM with dinner included.

On Wednesday nights during in the fall and spring, we gather for a church-wide fellowship dinner at 6:00 PM in our Fellowship Hall. A nursery is available for our youngest kids. A small donation is requested to help cover the cost of your meal.

KIDS FELLOWSHIP (ELementary Age kids)

SUNDAY NIGHTS at 5:00 PM

Elementary aged kids are invited to join us every Sunday night for Kid’s Choir & Bells, dinner, and Kid’s Fellowship, where children are invited to grow deeper in knowledge of scripture, in their faith in God, and in service to their neighbors, through stories, games, arts & crafts and more.

KIDS SUNDAY SCHOOL

SUNDAYS at 9:45 AM in the JAM ROOM

3rd through 5th graders are also invited to join us for Sunday School taught by Heather Foster.

STORYTIME (Kids 4 & Under

WEDNESDAYS at 5:30 PM in the SANCTUARY

Pre-School Age Children and their parents are invited to join us for Storytime every Wednesday, where they'll read a book and sing songs together, introducing them to basic faith concepts like God, Jesus, Church and the Bible.

Opportunities for Youth to Grow

YOuTH FELLOWSHIP (8th-12th graders)

SUNDAYS at 5:00 PM in the YOUTH ROOM

Youth Fellowship at First Presbyterian Church is an excellent opportunity for young people to grow deeper in their faith and closer to one another. Each week we gather for dinner starting at 5:00 PM, followed by a fellowship activity or service project, led by our dedicated team of youth advisors.

CONFIRMATION CLASS (6th & 7th graders)

SUNDAYS at 5:00 PM in the YOUTH ROOM

Taught by Pastor Howard Dudley, confirmation will be offered in 201 and is offered every two years for our 6th & 7th graders. After joining Youth Fellowship for dinner every Sunday Night, our confirmands learn together the essentials of the Christian faith in the Reformed tradition in preparation for becoming full active members of the church. If you are interested in registering your youth for confirmation class, please speak to Pastor Howard Dudley.

All youth, from 6th - 12th grade, are invited to join us in the youth room for Sunday School every Sunday morning, where we discuss the Scripture reading of the day and tackle some of the big questions of our faith, led by Brian Foster.

CoVENANT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS

SUNDAYS at 9:45 AM in the CORNER CLASSROOM

The Covenant Class studies and discusses a variety of topics, and is led by Gerald Hatley, Harry Byrd & Floy Hamilton. This class meets all throughout the year, including the summer.

SEEKERS SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS

SUNDAYS at 9:45 AM in the PARLOR

The Seekers Sunday School Class discusses a variety of topics and is led by Amy Godwin. The Seekers Class meets from Labor Day to Memorial Day.

HEBREW CLASS

WEDNESDAY MORNINGS at 6:00 AM in the LIBRARY

Interested in learning the language of the Bible? You can start your Wednesday Mornings studying elementary Hebrew with us in the church library. Led by AC Williams & Rob Kelly.

MEN OF THE CHURCH

FIRST SUNDAY at 8:30 AM in the FELLOWSHIP HALL

Our men of the church gather for breakfast every first Sunday at 8:30 AM, with a time of Bible Study and prayer. Men of the church also take on special projects. If you’re interested in connecting contact Clem Medley.
