First Presbyterian Church of Dunn is a Christ-centered family of faith serving the greater Dunn area since 1889. We are a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (USA) and a member of Coastal Carolina Presbytery, which means we practice our faith in the reformed tradition of Christianity. Our aim is to deepen our love for God and our love for our neighbors in response to God's love for us in Jesus Christ.

In a fast paced world full of cheap thrills, where distractions too often pull people from what's really important in life, and fear and anxiety come to drive us, people need hope. Therefore our church comes together so that we might live with love for God, just as Jesus taught.

In a world full of division, where too often people are pitted against each other for their differences, and we find ourselves more and more isolated, people need community. Therefore, our church comes together so that we might live with love our love for our neighbors, just as Jesus taught.

BECAUSE CHRIST LOVES US FIRST

Jesus said "Love one another as I have loved you."

Before anything else, in world where no one is perfect, yet too often people are measured by their successes and failures, and our mistakes become a burden for us to carry, people need mercy. Therefore, our church comes together so that we might be reminded that in Jesus Christ, God has loved us first, once and for all.
